Welcome to our family-run hotel in Gemünden am Main. Modern comfort and contemporary architecture meet traditional ambience and personal service here. Benefit during your stay from the idyllic location of our hotel in the district of Langenprozelten. It is the perfect starting point to explore the Main-Spessart district, the Franconian Mainland and the Lovely Tauber Valley. In our restaurant we serve honest, Franconian cuisine with regional ingredients. A glass of Franconian wine, a visit to the sauna or our bowling alley will round off your vacation day. The barrier-free hotel is equipped to meet the needs of numerous target groups. Large parking spaces, enough space in hallways and rooms, accessibility of almost all rooms by elevator and the availability of a wheelchair accessible room are good conditions for a carefree vacation.

  • There is a general parking lot available.
  • All rooms and facilities usable and raised for the guest are accessible without steps. Door thresholds are max. 13 cm high. 
  • The entrance/access to the building is step-free.
  • Exterior walkways are at least 120 cm wide. 
  • Doors are at least 80 cm wide. (Exception: sauna door 54 cm).
  • The elevator car is 105 cm x 140 cm.
  • The elevator door is 89 cm wide.
  • The counter/cash register is 104 cm high at the lowest point. There is another equivalent seated communication option.
  • There are 16 accessible tables in the breakfast room. 
  • There are 12 accessible tables in the restaurant. 

Room 33

  • The room is a double room.
  • The movement areas are: in front of essential furnishings (e.g. cabinets) 200 cm x 161 cm; to the left of the bed 60 cm x 200 cm; to the right of the bed 115 cm x 200 cm.
  • The bed is 61 cm high.

Bathroom

  • The movement areas in the bathroom are:   in front of the sink 125 cm x 150 cm; in front of the WC 150 cm x 125 cm; to the left of the WC 29 cm x 71 cm; to the right of the WC 142 cm x 71 cm.

WC / washbasin

  • There are grab rails to the left and right of the WC.
  • The right handhold can be folded up. 
  • The washbasin is accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of at least 30 cm.
  • The mirror is visible in sitting and standing position.

Shower

  • The shower is accessible without steps. 
  • The shower area is 120 cm x 120 cm.
  • There are grab bars in the shower.

Public WC on the ground floor:

  • There is a unisex WC available.
  • The movement areas are: in front of the washbasin 125 cm x 125 cm; in front of the WC 125 cm x 125 cm; to the left of the WC 10 cm x 71 cm; to the right of the WC 10 cm x 71 cm.
  • There are grab rails to the left and right of the WC.
  • The right grab rail can be folded up. 
  • The washbasin is accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of at least 30 cm.
  • The mirror is visible in sitting and standing position.

  • Assistance dogs (companion dogs, guide dogs for the blind, etc.) may be brought along. 
  • The entrance area is visually contrasting to the surroundings. An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed acoustically, e.g. by an intercom system.'
  • The stop position is not announced by voice.
  • The controls and signage are not tactilely detectable.
  • There is a menu. The menu is designed in no-frills, high-contrast type.
  • The following assistive devices are provided: Reading aids (reading glasses, magnifiers, etc.).
  • Signage designed in easy-to-read font. 
  • There is good visual contrast between the font/pictogram and the background.

  • An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed acoustically, e.g. by an intercom system.
  • Sufficient tables with bright and glare-free lighting are available.
  • Sufficient tables are available where there are no lamps standing or hanging that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact.
  • There is at least one freely available power outlet near the bed.
  • There is no inductive hearing system available at the counter or in the meeting room. 
  • W-LAN is offered.
