Hilton Munich Park

 All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - accessible for people with walking disabilities and partially accessible for wheelchair users".

• There is a designated parking space for people with disabilities. 
• Doors are at least 90 cm wide (except the sauna doors 67 cm).
• Access to all areas is step-free with the help of an elevator.
• Elevator cars are at least 185 cm x 130 cm. The elevator doors are at least 130 cm wide.
• The entrance/access to the building is stepless.
• The reception counter is 110 cm high at the lowest point. 
• There are wheelchair accessible tables in the restaurant. 
• There are two barrier-free designed rooms. 
• There are public toilets with sufficient space for movement.

Room No. 428 - Bedroom

• The room is a double room.
•  The movement areas are: in front of essential furnishings (e.g. cupboards) 160 cm x 104 cm; to the left of the bed 91 cm x 200 cm; to the right of the bed 225 cm x 200 cm.
• The bed is 65 cm high.

Bathroom

• The movement areas in the bathroom are: in front of the sink 200 cm x 142 cm; in front of the WC 165 cm x 175 cm; to the left of the WC 98 cm x 70 cm; to the right of the WC 29 cm x 70 cm.

WC / washbasin

• There are folding grab rails to the left and right of the WC.
• The washbasin is accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of less than 30 cm.
• The mirror can be viewed while sitting or standing.

Shower

• The shower is accessible without steps. 
• The shower area is 142 cm x 173 cm.
• There are grab bars in the shower.
• A shower seat is available or can be provided if needed.

• Assistance dogs are welcome.
• The entrance area is visually contrasting to the surroundings. 
• The operating elements are visually contrasting. 
• The operating elements (e.g. door handles, light switches, emergency call buttons) are tactilely detectable throughout the building/object.
• Signage designed in easy-to-read lettering. 
• There is a good visual contrast between the lettering/pictogram and the background.

• An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed acoustically, e.g. by an intercom system.
