Holiday Apartment "Schönheit" at the adventure farm Achatz

All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified -  partially accessible for people with walking disabilities and for wheelchair users".

• There are three parking spaces for people with disabilities directly at the holiday apartment (parking space size: at least 350 cm x 500 cm, distance to the entrance: 2 m).
• The path from the car park to the entrance is easy to walk and drive on.
• The entrance of the holiday apartment "Schönheit" has a threshold of 1.5 cm.
• All evaluated rooms that are available to the guest are accessible at ground level (exception: upper floor of the play barn).
• Doors and passageways are at least 80 cm wide.

Bedroom 1

• The room is a double room.
• The movement areas are: in front of essential furnishings (e.g. cupboards) 250 cm x 120 cm; to the left of the bed 0 cm x 0 cm; to the right of the bed 110 cm x 200 cm.
• The bed is 46 cm high.

Bedroom 2

• The room is a double room.
• The movement areas are: in front of essential furnishings (e.g. cupboards) 300 cm x 173 cm; to the left of the bed 48 cm x 200 cm; to the right of the bed 180 cm x 200 cm.
• The bed is 46 cm high.

Bathroom for people with disabilities

• The movement areas in the bathroom are: in front of the sink 200 cm x 155 cm; in front of the WC 200 cm x 210 cm; to the left of the WC 28 cm x 70 cm; to the right of the WC 110 cm x 70 cm.

WC / washbasin

• There are grab rails to the left and right of the WC.
• There is a grab bar to the left of the WC. 
• There is a folding grab bar to the right of the WC.
• The washbasin is wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of at least 30 cm.
• The mirror is visible in sitting and standing position

Shower

• The shower is accessible without steps. 
• The shower area is 150 cm x 150 cm.
• Grab bars and a shower seat are provided.

• Assistance dogs are allowed.
• The entrance is visually contrasted to the surroundings and can be recognized by a tactile change of floor covering.
• Rooms and corridors are well illuminated, i.e. bright and glare-free.

• In the case of an acoustic alarm (e.g. fire alarm) a clearly optically perceptible flashing light or flashing signal is perceptible in the holiday apartment "Schönheit" (in the hallway to the bathroom).
• At least one electrical outlet is available near the bed.
• Free WIFI access is available.
• Knocking at the room door is not indicated by a flashing signal.

• Name and logo of the establishment are clearly recognizable from the outside.
• Business cards/brochures with address and telephone number of the host are visibly displayed in the bedroom.
• There is no information in easy language. Information is not provided by pictograms or pictures.

• The destinations of the paths are usually within sight.
