Holiday Apartment "Paternoster"

All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - partially accessible for people with walking disabilities".

• There is a parking space available directly at the holiday apartment (parking space size: at least 350 cm x 500 cm, distance to entrance: 3 m).
• The entrance to the house is via a 3 cm high threshold.
• All evaluated rooms available to the guest are accessible at ground level.
• Doors and passageways are at least 80 cm wide.
• The dining table and the stove can be moved underneath. 
• There is a nursing bed available.

Bedroom (double bedroom)

• The manoeuvring spaces in front of essential immobile furnishings are 102 cm x 260 cm, to the left of the bed 90 cm x 220 cm and to the right 79 cm x 220 cm.
• The bed is compatible for a bed lift.
• A nursing bed can be provided.

Bathroom

• The manoeuvring space is:
  • to the left of the toilet 154 cm x 53 cm, to the right 16 cm x 53 cm;
  • in front of the toilet 207 cm x 68 cm, in front of the washbasin 56 cm x 152 cm.
• The toilet has handles on both sides, the left one can be folded up.
• The shower area at ground level is 80 cm x 76 cm.
• A shower seat and horizontal handles are available.
• The washbasin is wheelchair compatible and the mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.

• Assistance dogs are allowed.
• The main entrance is visually contrasted to the surrounding area, but cannot be recognized by a tactile change in the floor covering.
• There is no uninterrupted guidance system (e.g. ground indicators) in indoor and outdoor areas.

• At least one electrical outlet is available near the bed.
• Free WIFI access is available.
• Knocking at the room door is not indicated by a flashing signal.

• Name and logo of the establishment are clearly recognizable from the outside.
• Business cards/brochures with address and telephone number of the host are displayed in the bedroom.
• There is no information in easy language. Information is not displayed by pictograms or pictures.
• The destinations of the paths are within sight.
