Experience Trail "Balance und Leichtigkeit" in Mönchberg

Description

On the 2400 square metre site, various activity areas such as basket swings, balancing discs, wheelchair seesaws and balancing ropes invite visitors to explore. All adventure areas have at least one barrier-free access. A tactile strip rounds off the route. The centrepiece is a rest area under mighty oak trees.   • The entire circular trail is 1,200 m long. Of these, 800 m are designed as barrier-free circular trail. Furthermore, there is a side trip of approx. 200 m (400 m round trip).

  • The path between the car park and the beginning/starting point of the experience trail is approx. 100 m long, easy to walk and drive on and has a maximum longitudinal gradient of 8 %.

Barrier-free circular trail (approx. 800 m)

  • The experience trail is stepless.
  • The experience trail is easy to walk and drive on (water-bound cover).
  • The maximum gradient is up to 8 % on 8 m.
  • The experience trail is at least 200 cm wide.
  • The experience trail is car-free. It is not necessary to cross a road used by motor vehicles.

  • A wheelchair seesaw is available. The seesaw has a width of 90 cm.

  • The section is not always easy to walk and drive on.
  • The maximum gradient is up to 12% over 80 m.
  • The section is at least 200 cm wide.
  • The section is car-free. It is not necessary to cross a road used by motor vehicles.
  • The section is not designated for cyclists, skaters, riders, etc.
  • Seating is available.
  • The trail is continuously signposted. The trail marking is a "white squirrel on green ground".
