All areas of gastronomy relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility tested - partially barrier-free for people with walking impairments ".

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For more details, please see the test report at the end of the text.

• There is no marked parking space for people with disabilities.
• The main entrance is steplessly accessible (threshold: 1 cm).
• The guest rooms and the public toilet for people with disabilities are steplessly accessible, the hotel rooms are only accessible via a staircase with 17 steps.
• The reception desk is 116 cm high. There is no equivalent communication possibility in a sitting position.
• Doors and passageways in the catering area are at least 89 cm wide. The doors in the overnight accommodation area are sometimes less than 70 cm wide (e.g. bathrooms in the rooms).
• In the catering area there are wheelchair compatible tables.

Room no. 13 (double room, 1st floor).

• Doors are at least 69 cm wide.
• The manoeuvring spaces are:
  in front of essential furnishings (e.g. cupboards) 165 cm x 150 cm;
  to the left of the bed 40 cm x 202 cm;
  to the right of the bed 125 cm x 202 cm.
• The bed is 52 cm high.
• The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
  in front of the washbasin 135 cm x 135 cm;
  in front of the WC 95 cm x 124 cm;
  to the left of the WC 66 cm x 54 cm;
  to the right of the WC 23 cm x 54 cm.
• There are no grab rails in the bathroom.
• The accessibility of the washbasin is limited by panelling, cupboards or similar.

Room No. 10 (double room, 1st floor)

• Doors are at least 69 cm wide.
• The manoeuvring spaces are:
  in front of essential furnishings (e.g. cupboards) 200 cm x 200 cm;
  to the left of the bed 86 cm x 200 cm;
  to the right of the bed 70 cm x 200 cm.
• The bed is 51 cm high.
• The manoeuvring spaces are: in the bathroom are:
  in front of the washbasin 135 cm x 135 cm;
  in front of the WC 95 cm x 124 cm;
  to the left of the WC 66 cm x 54 cm;
  to the right of the WC 23 cm x 54 cm.
  There are no grab rails in the bathroom.
• The accessibility of the washbasin is limited by panelling, cupboards or similar.

Public toilet for people with disabilities

• The door is 94 cm wide.
• The manoeuvring spaces are:
  in front of the washbasin 115 cm x 200 cm;
  in front of the WC 200 cm x 115 cm;
  to the left of the WC 59 cm x 70 cm;
  to the right of the WC 89 cm x 70 cm.
• There are grab rails to the left and right of the WC.
• Both grab rails can be folded up. 
• The washbasin is accessible from underneath at a height of 67 cm and a depth of less than 30 cm.

• Assistance dogs are allowed.
• The entrance is visually contrasted with the surroundings and can be recognized by a tactile change of the floor covering.
• Indoors and outdoors there is no uninterrupted guidance system (e.g. ground indicators).
• Rooms and corridors are predominantly bright and glare-free.
• Stairs do not have high-contrast step surfaces.
• There is no information in Braille or prismatic writing.

• There is no visual alarm.
• There is no audio induction loop.
• Free WiFi access is available in the evaluated rooms. There is at least one electrical outlet available near the bed.
• Knocking at the room door is not indicated by a flashing signal.
• In the dining room there are tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps standing or hanging that restrict the field of vision.
• There are seating areas with low background noises (e.g. seating corner, separate room).

• Business cards/brochures with address and telephone number of the hotel are visibly dispalyed at the reception desk.
