All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - partially accessible for people with walking disabilities".

Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.

  • There are no marked parking spaces for people with disabilities.
  • The building is only accessible via a treshold of 5 cm.
  • All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are accessible at ground level or via elevator.
  • The elevator cabin measures 108 cm x 140 cm. The elevator door is 90 cm wide.
  • All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 81 cm wide.
  • Exception: the door to the sauna is 61 cm wide.
  • The reception desk is at its lowest point 115 cm high. There is another, equivalent communication possibility while in a sitting position.
  • There are 25 wheelchair accessible tables available in the dining room (maximum height 80 cm, wheelchair accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of 30 cm).

Room 11

  • There is also information available for room 28. The dimensions are mostly the same.
  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of essential stationary furnishings (e.g. wardrobe) 150 cm x 70 cm;
    left of the bed 70 cm x 210 cm;
    right of the bed 56 cm x 210 cm.
  • The manoeuvring spaces in the bathroom are:
    in front of/behind the door at least 85 cm x 105 cm;
    in front of the toilet and the washbasin 128 cm x 139 cm;
    left of the toilet 125 cm x 70 cm, no manoeuvring space on the right.
  • There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet. The grab rail on the left of the toilet can be flipped-up.
  • The sink is wheelchair compatible. The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting.
  • The shower is accessible without thresholds and the manoeuvring space is 120 cm x 125 cm.
  • A shower seat and grab rails are available.
  • An alarm trigger is available.

Public toilet for people with disabilities

  • The manoeuvring spaces are:
    in front of/behind the door, the toilet and the washbasin at least 109 cm x 147 cm;
    left of the toilet 50 cm x 71 cm and right of the toilet 71 cm x 71 cm.
  • There are grab rails available on the right and left of the toilet. The grab rails can be flipped-up..
  • The sink is wheelchair compatible. The mirror can be seen while standing or sitting and an alarm trigger is available.

  • Assistance dogs may not be brought to the establishment.
  • The entrance is visually rich in contrast and recognizable by a tactile change of floor covering.
  • All evaluated and usable areas for the guest are well illuminated, i.e. bright and glare-free.
  • The signage is designed in clearly legible and contrasting font.
  • An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed audibly.
  • The break position is not announced by spoken commands.
  • Alternatively stairs are available.
  • Steps are not visually rich in contrast.
  • Stairs have at least a handrail on one side.
  • Information is not available in Braille or prismatic font.

  • There is no clearly visible alarm.
  • There is no audio induction loop system at the reception desk.
  • An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed audibly.
  • In the dining room there are 25 tables with bright and glare-free lighting, on which there are no lamps standing or hanging that interfere with the field of vision or eye contact.

Room 11 and 28

  • There is at least one electrical outlet available near the bed.
  • W-LAN is offered.
